Hello!

I had to create this blog for the last techonology class I participated in. I intend to start using it in the fall with the new school year. I have linked this to my website through the school so parents can easily access my website and blog. I intend to put postings up daily for students who are absent. This makes it easier on us all so they can catch up. I will link homework pages and important school papers so parents can print of and easily return them to school the next day. I plan on having a certain time in the evening I will check my blog for questions so I can give immediate feedback to my students and parents the night before school starts. I opened my blog to any comments so parents and students don't need to have an account to talk with me. I see many advantages, mainly better and faster communication with parents and students. The only problem I can think of would be a lot of the families in my area still don't have computers much less internet access for that matter. This would be great communicate for everyone, if everyone had a computer. Also, internet access isn't always reliable and that leads to frustration at school and home sometimes. I am excited to use my new blog this year!
